We Believe:
1. The Bible - The inspired word of God is the old and new testament. Holy men of old spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. The bible is the only rule of the christen life, faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21
2. The Trinity - The Father, Son and Holy Ghost are one and Co-equally manifested in three Person. The God Head is also co-existent and co-eternal. We believe that God is the Author and Creator of all things. We believe Jesus Christ born of the virgin Mary die and rose from the dead. He is now at the right hand of God. He will return again to establish his kingdom Matthew 3:16; 28:18. The Holy Ghost a divine person is the comforter sent by the Lord Jesus to guide and teach the believer. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost according to the book of Acts.
3. Man - A created being, made in the likeness and image of God. The transgression and fall of Adam allow sin to come into the world. Genesis 1:26- 31, Romans 5: 12 we believe that Jesus Christ was manifested to undo the work of the devil, and gave his life and shed his blood to redeem and restore man to God (1John 3:8). Man’s first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that worketh repentance. This new birth produces eternal life. (2 Cor. 7:10; John 3:3-5; 1 John 5:12)
4. Water Baptism - Baptism in water is by immersion, a commandment of our Lord (Matthew 28:19), and is for believers only. This is one of the ordinance of this church. The formula for baptism is: “On the confession of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the son of God, I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
5. The Lord‘s Supper – Another ordinance of the church. This event a memorial of his death and resurrection, is strictly limited to christens believers (1 Cor. 11:27). The time and frequency of this event is left up to the pastor and congregation (1 Cor 11:26).
6. Foot Washing – Foot washing will be recognized among the believers as a christen practice. This event will be observance as the pastor and congregation determine. This also is another ordinances of this church.
7. Divine Healing – Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. (James 5: 14-15; Mark 16: 18; 1 Peter 2: 24)
8. Jesus’ Second Coming – the angel’s said to Jesus’ disciples,” This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” “….The dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air…” (Act 1:11; 1 Thess 4:16-17).
9. Hell and Eternal Death – The one who physically dies in his are her sin without accepting Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost.
10. Sanctification – The bible teaches that without holiness no man shall see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive, work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and consummation of salvation ( Hebrews 13 :12; 2 Thess 2:13; 1 Peter 12 )
